ABOUT US:
Sometimes you like to know a little about
the organization you are dealing with. We
think that is a good idea.
Gina Austin - Founder and head bottle washer
-
Gina Austin has been in rescue for the last
15 years. She has been the Tennessee rescue
adoption coordinator for a New England Lab
Rescue Group. As happens with many of us,
we want to do it all ourselves and branch
off as a separate entity.
This launched a new group, Lab and All Breed
Rescue Network – L.A.B.R.N. The theory
is that by networking with other rescue groups
we can save more dogs. Gina is in the prime
spot to pull dogs from high kill shelters
and quarantine them according to USDA guidelines.
She has the experience to quarantine dogs.
Gina’s qualifications include:
- Certified by FEMA and TEMA in animal disaster
response
- Trained as well as have experience in animal
communicable diseases, and blood borne pathogens
in animals
- Works her K-9 SAR dog Petey to help find
lost dogs and people. Petey is an air scenting
JRT mix that she rescued and trained.
- Volunteer transport coordinator
Gina has worked with a vet for many years
and has extensive knowledge on all animal
illnesses. She worked very diligently to
make sure her rescues are healthy.
PLEASE NOTE L.A.B.R.N. DOES NOT ACCEPT CHECKS.
ADOPTION FEE MUST BE PAID VIA PAYPAL BEFORE
